Personal Biography

Me NYANGEZI Bonane is a Founding and Managing Partner of JURIS CIVITAS LAW FIRM. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and a Master's Degree of Business law (LLM) from the University of Rwanda , he has a Master's degree in genocide studies and prevention in the same University , a post-graduate diploma in legal practice delivered by the Institute of Legal Practice and Development from Rwanda, and a diploma in applied education delivered by a High Institute of Education of Bunia in Republic Democratic of Congo. Me NYANGEZI Bonane is a Member of Rwanda Bar Association from 2013 and in 2020 a member of Kigali International Arbitration Center and also recognized by the Ministry of justice as a Private Notary . He trained on mediator's skill with a certificate from Edouards Mediation Academy . He has experience of over than 20 years in practicing law especially in the following areas: Business Law ,Administrative law, Corporate law, Competition and consumer law, Labour Law , Dispute and resolution, Criminal law, intellectual property law and land Law. Prior to establishing the Firm, he was Executive Secretary of Byumba Province and after he occupied the post of the Mayor of Gicumbi District in Northern Province of Rwanda and then after from 2013 until now the legal counsel of PETROCOM LTD , a private company dealing with national and international transport and having a manufacturing factory of construction materials which are commercialized with the same company. This company also is a representative in Rwanda and Burundi of MAN Vehicles from Germany .PETROCOM LTD is also engaged in farming and modern horticulture. He is also a legal counsel of Rwanda Mountain Tea Ltd a company specialized in tea plantation, and having factories processing tea and deal with its commercialisation on international level. Some researchers conducted are : PROBLEMATIC OF COMPETITION OF PRODUCTS PACKAGED IN EAC COUNTRIES VIS A VIS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION LAWS : a thesis submitted to the School of Law in fulfilment of the requirements for the awards of a Master's degree in Business Law - THE PRINCIPLE OF EQUITY IN TRIALS OF GENOCIDE AGAINST TUTSI IN RWANDAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM AND UNICTR, a thesis submitted for the fulfilment of the award of masters of arts in genocide studies and prevention. NYANGEZI Bonane is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda, has excellent command of French and a working knowledge of English and Swahili.
